What is Ciplacef 250 Injection (Ceftriaxone) used for?

Ciplacef 250 Injection (Ceftriaxone) is a cephalosporin antibiotic which is injected to treat a variety of infections caused by bacteria. Conditions it is prescribed to treat include gonorrhea, pelvic inflammatory disease, meningitis and lung infections. Infections of the blood, abdomen, ears, skin and urinary tract may also be treated with it. This injection is sometimes given prior to surgery to prevent infections from occurring.

How should I use Ciplacef 250 Injection (Ceftriaxone)?

Ciplacef 250 Injection (Ceftriaxone) is injected either intramuscularly or intravenously. The dosage depends on the infection being treated. This injection may be administered as a single dose, or may be given 1 to 2 times per day for 4 to 14 days. This injection is either administered by a physician, or injected at home. However patients who are not sure how to properly inject this medication should not administer it at home. Only use this medication as directed by your physician.

What are the side effects of Ciplacef 250 Injection (Ceftriaxone)?

Ciplacef 250 Injection (Ceftriaxone) may cause:
