What is Hybloc (Labetalol Hydrochloride) used for?

Hybloc (Labetalol Hydrochloride) can help to reduce the risk of kidney or heart problems, as well as lowering the risk of strokes occurring as a result of high blood pressure. It is an effective treatment for hypertension. This drug is known as an alpha blocker and a beta blocker. By blocking the actions of epinephrine and other naturally occurring chemicals, it can lower the heart rate and reduce blood pressure. This drug is also sometimes used to treat tetanus and angina.

Patients who have been prescribed Hybloc (Labetalol Hydrochloride) are normally told to take this drug 2 to 3 times per day. If you are taking this drug to treat high blood pressure, you should note that it may take several weeks for an improvement to be noticed.
