This spray should be administered into the mouth, and it works best if sprayed under the tongue. You should administer 1 to 2 sprays into the mouth. After you have administered it, you should not eat or spit for 5 to 10 minutes.

This medication is normally used 5 to 10 minutes before physical activity. Or if you are using it to relieve chest pain, use it as soon as the pain occurs.
