What is Zoderm E Cream (Oxiconazole) used for?

Zoderm E Cream (Oxiconazole) is a topical cream which is used as a treatment for a variety of skin infections, including jock itch, athlete's foot, ringworm and a fungal infection known as tinea versicolor. The active ingredient in this cream is a type of antifungal, which treats these conditions by preventing the fungus from growing.

How should I use Zoderm E Cream (Oxiconazole)?

Zoderm E Cream (Oxiconazole) should be applied directly to the skin to treat the infection. Your physician may direct you to apply it once per day, in the evening, or else twice per day, once in the morning, and again in the evening. You should ensure that the area requiring treatment is clean and dry before you apply the cream. Gently apply just enough to cover the area requiring treatment, and rub it in. Be sure to wash your hands after applying the cream. You should consult your physician if your condition worsens, or shows no signs of improvement after 2 to 4 weeks.

Zoderm E Cream (Oxiconazole) may cause mild side effects at the application site, such as:

  • Flaking of the skin
