What is Zonimid (Zonisamide) used for?

Zonimid (Zonisamide) is used as a treatment for seizures caused by epilepsy. This medication may be used together with other drugs to treat this condition. This drug is a type of sulfonamide anticonvulsant and also a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. It treats seizures by reducing unusual brain activity.

How should I use Zonimid (Zonisamide)?
