What is D-Veniz (Desvenlafaxine) used for?

D-Veniz (Desvenlafaxine) is a type of antidepressant that is effective in treating the symptoms of depression. This medication belongs to a class of drugs known as serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors, or SNRIs. It helps to treat the symptoms of depression by restoring the balance in the brain of natural substance such as norepinephrine and serotonin, which in turn helps to increase energy levels and feelings of well being. This drug may also be used to treat anxiety and panic attacks.

How should I use D-Veniz (Desvenlafaxine)?

D-Veniz (Desvenlafaxine) tablets are taken orally. Patients should always consult their physician before taking this medication, so that the correct dosage can be prescribed to them. The exact dosage varies, depending on the condition being treated. Your physician may start you out on a low dosage, and gradually increase your dosage over time. You should never suddenly stop taking this medication once you have started to take it, as this may cause unpleasant withdrawal symptoms.
