How should I use Differin (Adapalene)?

Differin (Adapalene) comes in the form of a cream or a gel, which should be applied directly to the skin as directed by your physician. Patients are usually told to apply it once per day, just before going to bed. It is important to note that acne may worsen during the initial few weeks of using this medication, however this worsening is temporary.
