What is Mofilet-S (Mycophenolic Acid) used for?

Mofilet-S (Mycophenolic Acid) is given to patients after an organ transplant such as a kidney) to prevent the body from rejecting the transplanted organ. It works by lowering the body's immune system, thereby preventing it from attacking the newly transplanted organ.

How should I use Mofilet-S (Mycophenolic Acid)?

Mofilet-S (Mycophenolic Acid) tablets should be taken orally and swallowed whole on an empty stomach. Ensure that you take them at least 1 hour prior to eating or 2 hours after meals. You should never chew or break the tablets.
