Patients who have been told by their physician to take Prazopress 1 (Prazosin) are usually directed to take one 1mg tablet 2 to 3 times per day. If a stomach upset occurs, you should take this drug with food. The first time this drug is taken, there is a risk that you will faint. In order to prevent this, your physician will probably prescribe a small dose to begin with, and advise you to take it just before going to bed.
