What is Rebagen (Rebamipide) used for?

Rebagen (Rebamipide) is used to treat gastritis, and also to help heal ulcers. It may also help to reduce the harmful effects of NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) on the small intestine, and to treat Behcet's disease. Studies have shown that it may also be effective in treating pouchitis and presybyacusis (loss of hearing due to aging).

How should I use Rebagen (Rebamipide)?

Rebagen (Rebamipide) tablets should be taken by mouth. Your physician will prescribe the correct amount required to treat your condition. The length of treatment depends on the condition being treated. You may be told to take this medication for a period of 1 week.
