What is Heartz (Ivermectin / Pyrantel Pamoate) used for?

Heartz (Ivermectin / Pyrantel Pamoate) is given to dogs to prevent heartworm disease and to treat other parasitic infections. It works by helping to eliminate heartworm larvae, which in turn protects dogs against heartworm disease.
