Prazivet Plus (Praziquantel/Pyrantel Pamoate/Febantel) is a de-worming tablet for dogs, and contains the same ingredients as other widely used anti-worm medication. Its three active ingredients work differently, with each ingredient targeting the many different worms that can infect dogs. Parasitic infections treated by this medication include tapeworms, hookworm, roundworm and whipworm infections. These parasites are neutralized by the medication.

How should I use Prazivet Plus (Praziquantel/Pyrantel Pamoate/Febantel)?

Before you give Prazivet Plus (Praziquantel/Pyrantel Pamoate/Febantel) tablets to your dog, you must take it to see a vet, so that it can be examined, and so that he or she can decide on the dosage required for your dog. Generally speaking, the heavier the dog is, the stronger the dosage required to treat it. The vet will tell you the required amount, and for how long treatment is required. These tablets may be fed to the dog by hand, or mixed in with its food.

If your vet has told you to give Prazivet Plus (Praziquantel/Pyrantel Pamoate/Febantel) to your dog, he or she will most likely tell you to observe your dog for signs of side effects, such as blood in its stools, diarrhea or vomiting. Take your dog to see the vet immediately if you believe that it is suffering from side effects.

Please Note

As these tablets are intended for veterinary use only, they should never be used by or given to humans.

Strictly follow all instructions provided to you by the prescribing vet while administering Prazivet Plus (Praziquantel/Pyrantel Pamoate/Febantel) to your dog. Optimum and safe dosage can differ based on the dog and the condition it is being treated for.

As this medication may be unsafe for certain dogs, it is essential you always inform the vet if your dog is used for breeding and is pregnant or lactating, as well as if it has any allergies, other illnesses, or ongoing health conditions, and if it is being given any other form of medication, supplements, or herbal products.

Immediately seek emergency veterinary care if your dog has any allergic or hypersensitive reaction. Common signs of a reaction in dogs include hives, swelling, skin rashes, chest pains, as well as trouble breathing or swallowing.
