What is Zyprexa (Olanzapine) used for?

Zyprexa (Olanzapine) is used in the treatment of various mental conditions such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. This drug may sometimes be prescribed for use together with other medication for treating depression, and for the prevention of nausea and vomiting caused by cancer treatment. It works by restoring the equilibrium of certain natural substances in the brain, known as neurotransmitters.
