What is Cytotam (Tamoxifen Citrate) used for?

Cytotam (Tamoxifen Citrate) is used in the treatment of certain types of breast cancer in post menopausal women. It can also be used to prevent the return of the cancer. This drug works by decreasing the amount of estrogen produced by the body, which can help to slow down or inhibit the growth of certain breast cancers that need estrogen to grow.

How should I use Cytotam (Tamoxifen Citrate)?

Cytotam (Tamoxifen Citrate) comes in the form of tablets, which are taken orally, with or without food. The standard dose is 1 to 2 tablets per day.
