What is Nupentin (Gabapentin) used for?

Nupentin (Gabapentin) is used to treat seizures caused by epilepsy. This drug is a type of anticonvulsant, which works by reducing unusual brain activity. Other conditions this medication treats includes nerve pain occurring as a result of shingles, diabetic neuropathy, trigeminal neuralgia, peripheral neuropathy and restless leg syndrome.

How should I use Nupentin (Gabapentin)?

Nupentin (Gabapentin) comes in the form of capsules, which should be taken by mouth. You should follow the directions of your physician and take only the amount that has been prescribed to you. If your physician tells you to take it 3 times per day, you should ensure that more than 12 hours does not pass in between each dose.
