What is Doxicip (Doxycycline HCL) used for?

Doxicip (Doxycycline HCL) treats infections caused by bacteria, such as pneumonia, infections of the respiratory tract or genitals, acne, skin infections, Lyme disease, and various others. It may be give after exposure to anthrax, or to prevent malaria. This drug is a type of tetracycline antibiotic, which prevents bacteria from growing and spreading.
